Big Future

Deadline: Ongoing

The College Board’s comprehensive BigFuture site helps students look up information about colleges and how to pay for school. Its scholarships search engine provides information on more than $6 billion in scholarships, financial aid and internships.

Cappex

Deadline: Ongoing

Cappex.com allows students to search both schools and scholarships, with a database of more than $11 billion in scholarships. A proprietary calculator also allows students to gauge their chances of getting into prospective schools with user-generated data.

FastWeb

Deadline: Ongoing

Fastweb, owned by parent company Monster.com, is also a free scholarship search provider that claims to have more than 1.5 million scholarships in its database. Like scholarships.com, the site will find scholarships in its database and email you matches, deadlines and newsletters.

Global Scholarships

Deadline: Ongoing

Discover scholarships for international students! Our mission is to provide an accessible way for international students to search and find comprehensive, accurate, and updated scholarship information.

Military.com

Deadline: Ongoing

Military.com features an online Scholarship Finder, which helps service members, veterans and their families search millions of dollars in military-related scholarships. Scholarship Finder allows you to look for scholarships, loans, grants, internships, living allowances, awards and prizes, organized by state of residence or where the individual hopes to study.

Peterson's

Deadline: Ongoing

Peterson’s is a one-stop scholarship resource — not that we recommend this strategy - with a number of great (and free!) resources. The site boasts $10 billion in scholarship awards and has an impressive collection of articles, test prep resources and more. But it’s not just a stockpile of scholarships. It also has the tools and tips you need to start your search — and its search filters make navigation simple.

SallieMae

Deadline: Ongoing

With SallieMae.com you can find college scholarships that match your skills, activities, and interests based on the profile you create. You can also set up customized alerts to notify you when a new scholarship that matches your profile becomes available.

Scholarships.com

Deadline: Ongoing

The free scholarship search is one of the most established and robust, tracking a reported $19 billion in scholarships. After you fill out a profile, the site will use your criteria to filter through all scholarships to generate a short list. Based on your answers, it’ll try to match the student to scholarships that may be a fit.

Unigo

Deadline: Ongoing

Unigo has plenty to offer beyond just scholarships, including jobs, internships, college profiles and rankings, articles and a textbook store. When it comes to scholarships, the site offers both profile-based matching as well as easy-to-browse categories. Perhaps best of all is its user-friendly interface, which is somewhat reminiscent of a photo-sharing site.

U.S. Veteran's Magazine

Deadline: Ongoing

If you’re a veteran who has served in the United States military, you and your family qualify for a number of scholarships and grants that will help cover the cost of higher education. U.S. Veterans Magazine compiles a variety of scholarships available to veterans and their spouses and dependents across all military branches.
